Only Human is the production company of Walkley-winning journalist, director, writer and producer Patrick [Pat] Abboud.
We are an award-winning, truly independent company known for finding high-impact, daring and original ideas — and approaching them in unexpected ways.
Our slate spans premium screen and audio documentaries, original investigations, popular factual, podcasts, narrative and immersive films, multi-channel installations and live experiences.
From streaming platforms and broadcasters to museums, galleries and public spaces, our work reaches people wherever they engage with culture and media. We collaborate with leading Australian and international partners across the commercial, public and cultural sectors.
At the heart of Only Human is a simple belief: that understanding other people can change how we understand ourselves. We’re on a mission to make us all better humans through curiosity, empathy and the power of a great story.
In exclusive partnership with Dreamchaser Studios, backed by Fifth Season in the USA, we develop and produce ambitious unscripted and scripted content for Australian and international markets.
